0:29.5	Today, we head back to the narratives of Second Kings and Second Chronicles.
0:35.8	When we were last in these books, we read about the life and death of Judah's king Hezekiah.
0:43.4	Hezekiah was a good king who led the people to worship God.
0:48.1	And though his pride got the better of him toward the end of his life, the nation of Judah
0:53.2	worshipped and served the Lord under his reign.
0:57.4	This was also the time period in which Isaiah prophesied to the nation of Judah about their
1:03.3	future exile and the hope of the future Messiah, which we've read about over the past couple
1:09.4	of weeks.
1:10.4	Today, we meet Hezekiah's son, Manasseh, and see just how quickly the people of Judah
1:17.6	turned from the Lord under his leadership.
1:21.7	Second Kings 21 and Second Chronicles 33 share the same narrative overarchingly.
1:28.3	But Second Chronicles 33 will give us a few more details about the later years of King
1:34.2	Manasseh.
