with your host, Emma Daughter. What is up, everyone? Thank you for joining us. My name is Will McElroy. I am the

Shoreline Men's Coordinator or High School Men's Coordinator here. And Emma, she is in Israel. So we are having like a students takeover,

if you will. And so I'm actually joined with one of our very own students, Maddox Vines.

What's up, Maddo? What's going on? What school do you go to, Maddox?

I go to Trinity Christian Academy. Trinity Christian. And then Maddox, he's also involved with Shoreline, he's on lead team where he serves at Watermark,

and man, I'm glad you're here, Maddox. It's going to be fun. So why don't Maddox, I want to know

kind of your quick, you know, two to three minute version of just how you came to know the Lord,

like how you came to faith. Oh, yeah. So I was raised in a Christian household, went to church every Sunday,

pretty common. It's been a couple months since I really took my faith for my own. I was hanging

out with some pretty rough crowds, not doing godly things, really just not chasing after Christ. Yeah yeah and then one of my buddies told me

who was not part of this group i was with who was like look dude when you're around those people

you go down like a dark a dark path so i didn't really know what to do with that i kind of didn't

really believe him because i kind of wanted to do my own thing.

Yeah.

But then he was like, just trust me.

Next time you hang around them, just watch how your attitude totally shifts.

I was like, all right, cool.

So I go there and I'm hanging on with my friends, and I just see, right as I walk in the door, like I totally just turn away from Christ.

Just stop living right.

Yeah, just totally doing the things of the world.

I represent Christ.
