Summary

Lean in with our Host, Emma Dotter, as she breaks down the content of Genesis 35 and 36 explaining why the family framework is so vital for us to have. If we miss the fundamental things in today's two chapters, we aren’t able to lay the right foundation necessary for understanding what is to come.

Thanks for joining. It's a Wednesday, but I'm by myself. We don't have a student guest. And that's because all of our students are recovering from their retreat, D-Town, this past weekend,

which looked amazing, and it's so, so abundantly clear that God is working mightily through

0:29.1

our students and their leaders here in Dallas. And regardless of where you live, or how old

0:33.8

you are, I'm glad we're reading the Bible together, and all of us can get a

0:38.6

glimpse at what our students experienced at D-Town this past weekend by checking up the new

songs released by Watermark Waves, which are available on Spotify, Apple, or wherever you listen

to, listen to music. My personal favorite is the song soon. That said, we've only got a few minutes, and today we are in

1:30.5

in the quiet, host meetings, etc. But up until now, I haven't needed any office furniture.

1:37.4

And during those ice storm snow days, I scoured the internet for the best sales and finally

1:42.8

ordered furniture. And one of the pieces that I purchased

1:46.5

was a metal glass top coffee table. And this table has sat unboxed and unassembled on the floor

1:54.1

for a week now. So every day, I walk into the office and I stare at the frame. I want you to

1:59.4

picture it. A rectangular black metal

2:01.9

coffee table. The glass top is still in a box, but the metal pieces are just lying in a pile.

2:07.7

At first glance, it doesn't look like a table. I mean, if anything, it may look like the frame

2:14.6

to a tiny toddler bed or something because it's just strips of metal.
