Good morning. Katie, I am so glad you're here. We've met briefly before back at writer trainings and maybe a few touch points along the way.

And I would love to know how you came to know Jesus.

Well, I was blessed to grow up in a Christian family.

Both my parents are Christians.

And we lived in a really small town called

Mm-hmm. The home of the fighting chicks. I love it. That's awesome. And I went to church

with my parents. They taught Sunday school. And so I just had the amazing blessing of being

engulfed, if you say, around other believers, going to church

three times a week, being involved in all those things. And so I made a decision early on. I was

like six years old. I went into the pastor's office and prayed with them and asked Jesus to come

into my heart. And as I grew up, I think that there's always some, like,

fear and trembling and working out your faith as you become like a teenager.

Absolutely. Yeah. So there was, like, doubts that would creep in. But I think one time my

brother-in-law, and this was later when I was, you know, an adult married, and he said that

he would go to bed every night and just pray,

basically the prayer of salvation. And then it was like, well, this just kind of nullifies
