Hi.

So I've officially competed my first week of living in New York, and I'm loving it so far.

It hasn't made you mean yet.

No, actually, quite the opposite.

I'm not even joking, so I've been here a week, but the opportunities from the faith perspective, the Catholic perspective, it's just incredible here.

Being able to go to daily mass, you sent me a link to the New York CS Lewis Society, and there's a talk every month, and the next one coming up is the relationship between grace and works.

I went to a Latin Mass last Friday evening at like

7.30 p.m. I mean, there's just, there's a screw tape letters play coming up. Endless opportunities for me

to dive into my faith. So as long as I ignore the people and focus on the opportunities, I'm good to go.

Yeah, it doesn't have a beach, though, and it's not that sunny.

I think San Diego still wins. It does, but I was running the other day on the Hudson River,

and it was 80 degrees sunny. It was stunning just right. It was like a boardwalk all the way down,

if you want to call it the coast. I don't know you'd call that, but the coast of the little Manhattan Islands. And it was lovely. It won't last. I mean,

it's not like running on the Delmar Beach, I admit that, but, or, or Crown Point. But hey,

you know what? I try to find a joy and the beauty in the little things.
