Hello again, Story Club members. I'm Ivy, your ghostly host with the most and keeper of the strangest,

spookiest tales on earth. Today is another Ivy's chilling tale. Today's story comes to us from Maya,

and it's called Buzzy Demons.. Fuzzy demons? That's new.

I've met many demons during my time here in Story Club, but never any fuzzy ones.

The year was 1997. Jim was having a sleepover at his house with his best friend Mo. They had taken a break from eating tacos and a birthday cake,

and Jim started to open up the present Mo had given him.

It was a toy hamster.

Jim shouted out with glee.

Toy hamsters were all the rage back in 1997,

and Jim had told everyone he wanted one.

Excited about his new gift, Jim placed the toy carefully on his bookshelf

before he and Mo went over to the television in his bedroom to play some video games before bed.

Just as they started to get comfortable, a small, squeaky voice interrupted their quiet chatter.

Come here!

Jim and Mo stopped and looked around.

What was that? asked Mo.

That voice sounded strangely like a hamster.

Did it come from the video game? asked Jim.

Come here, my friends.

The voice squeaked again. Startled, Jim and Mo swiveled around in the friends, the voice squeaked again.

Startled, Jim and Moe swiveled around in the direction of the voice to find two hamsters standing side by side before them.

One was the fake toy hamster, and the other one was undeniably real.
