Today is another Ivy's chilling tale.

This paralyzing narrative, Story Club members, might make you stay awake and alert all night long.

It's one I call when I awake silently screaming. Todd Blake was terrified to go to sleep every night,

but more than that, he was afraid to wake up. He suffered from sleep paralysis, which meant that he would lose muscular control as he fell asleep and as he was waking up.

He was conscious, but he couldn't move.

On top of that, sleep paralysis also makes the victim often hallucinate since they're still in a state of dreamlike sleep even while they're awake.

Todd hated it more than anything and had suffered from it for years, but it seemed to get

worse after his grandmother passed away. He was so close to her as he would often stay at her

house on weekends. They would watch movies, make pies in the kitchen, play board games, and go on nature walks.

His grandma Molly was the sweetest and nicest person he'd ever known.

She was like his best friend.

Unfortunately, at the age of 85, she passed away in her sleep.

He knew she hadn't been feeling well leading up to her passing, but he was sad he'd never gotten to tell her goodbye.

The last time they saw each other, Grandma Molly assured him that they'd make his favorite butterscotch oatmeal cookies and then go to the county fair.
