Many times, Autumn has been able to comfort disembodied unrested spirits and convince

them that they were dead and needed to move on to the other side.

This one house we visited together was so terrifying that even I saw Autumn defeated and more than a little shaken. We've heard of this old

abandoned Victorian house that was on the state line between Yumatilla County, Oregon, and

Walla Walla County, Washington. It had a reputation of being haunted.

Many local kids who dared each other to go into the house ended up fleeing in terror.

The crumbling house was boarded up and had a chain link fence around it. It hadn't been torn down

as it still belonged to the Shuck family, though none of them had lived in it for 40 years.

Apparently, the house, which was built in the early 1900s, had a history of violence.
