I'm Ivy, your ghostly host with The Most and keeper of the strangest,

spookiest tales on earth.

Today is another Ivy's chilling tale.

This mildewy tale story club members might make staying away from all things musty a must.

It's one I call mold finger.

I could not believe what had happened.

The walls on the floor were covered in blackish green mold and gray mildew with pus-colored mushrooms growing out of it.

The entire room reeked of something rotten. I nearly choked. I couldn't

believe that only 24 hours ago, this entire horrifying mess had all started with a piece of stupid

bread. We were in the kitchen of my friend Sarah's house. Her dad, Dale Brooks, was making us lunch,

grilled cheese sandwiches with tomato soup.

It was a cold, dark, and rainy day out, so the food seemed like it would warm us right up.

It's a cozy sort of meal, if you know what I mean.

I've got the best bread right here, Sarah's dad said.

It's made fresh daily. I just bought this loaf.

He held up a piece in front of us. The bread was brown

with flecks of green and black in it. What's all that junk in it? I asked.

Junk? Are you kidding? This is the healthiest bread around. It has chia seeds, pumpkin seeds,

flax, you name it. It'll make you big and strong. Um, dad um dad Sarah said could we just have the normal bread
