You're locked in here with us. Paisley, the Pomeranian, said.

We're never going to get out, we're going to die, said Mr. Fox, an old white-whiskered Pomeranian.

No or not Fox, Kai said.

He was a young, bright-eyed border collie.

Not if I can help it.

They were all in some kind of cell.

It was made a metal and had no windows or even a door that they could see.

How did I get in here?

Galaxy asked.

You came down the shoot like the rest of us, Kai said.

The cell roof here opens up from time to time,

and another one of us is dropped in.

I was the first to arrive.

And before you try to see if there's a way we can open the shoot,

it's sealed tight, Mr. Fox said.
