Today is another Ivy's chilling tale.

This sticky tale story club members might make you think about what's lodged in your external

acoustic meadis.

It's one I call ear junk.

Billy Clutter woke up with one heck of an earache.

What had happened in the middle of the night?

He'd fallen asleep playing Minecraft on his tablet, then woke up seven hours later with

the ridiculous pressure inside his ear.

It's like something was stuffed up there.

The rest of the house was asleep on the lazy Sunday morning,

and Billy didn't want to wake up his mom or dad for help.

Instead, he grabbed his phone and sidled into the bathroom.

His mom had bought one of those devices off Instagram,

where you can poke and prod in your ears to pull out ear wax.

The tiny tweezers even had a camera so you can view the inside of your ear in high definition

on your phone while you dig around.

Billy turned on the Bluetooth and connected the device.

He was pretty sure that maybe he had some excess wax buildup that had formed overnight.

It seemed to run in the family after all.
