This is the first podcast in what we hope will be many about the experience of making Northern Exposure from 1995.

It's going to be hosted by my beautiful colleague here, Janine Turner and myself. We've been talking

about doing this for quite a while, so we're both really excited to be doing it, mainly because

both of us get besieged daily by people saying they want to know more about the show, they want

to go back and revisit it, they want to reboot. They want to hear what it was like.

And so, Janine and I have, you know, gotten together and we're going to, we're going to, we're going to do this. And we're going to bring you great guests. We have a whole bunch of people who were attached to the show originally. And they're going to be coming in on the weekly. And we're going to talk about the show. And then we think we might even try to do a kind of a fan segment once we get rolling here with subsequent episodes where we'll

bring on a fan and they can talk to us about it. So anyway, Janine, you look beautiful. How are you doing?

Oh, thanks, Rob. This is what we say in Texas, I got dolled up.

You dolled up well. I think you said that to me on Northern exposure is like, wow, O'Connell, you clean up well. Remember that? I did. And then I said,

can you talk? Because we were so excited about watching it again. And then he had watched it

before I, and then I started watching it. And I was texting him like, oh my God, you're so funny.

Oh my God, look at Barry like rappelling down off the side of his cabin. I mean, it really was.
