Hey, everybody, welcome back to the old-fashioned on-purpose podcast and a brand new season.

So I'm just going to get right to it in today's episode because if you have been reading my blog

or on my newsletter or over on my substack, you've probably been waiting for the podcast

version of this information. And yeah, I'm going through the biggest life transition to date right now.

And there's no polished way to say it.

So I'm just going to say it.

Christian and I are divorcing and it still feels weird and foreign to say that word out loud. It still gets caught

in my throat. And there's so much around this to unpack. I announced it a couple weeks ago

over on the substack and the blog. I purposely have done this in stages because the responses are

overwhelming. So I think a bulk of you know this, for those of you who don't follow me

anywhere else and only listen to the podcast, this is the first time you're hearing it. So I have

the benefit of having this information out in the world for a few

weeks by the time I'm recording this. I've had a chance to process the shock and the reactions

and I've had more thoughts come. So today's episode is going to be just talking through some of that

explaining pieces, not all of it, but pieces, sharing what's coming next for me and what you can

expect. So yeah, it's, I've had a lot of

thoughts on what this episode would look like. I have a lot of notes and we're just going to see

where it takes us. So here we go. So I just want to say before I dive into anything, I am not going

to be sharing either today or in the future any private details about my marriage or the dissolution of it

or him or any of that. I'm not going to be slinging mud or dragging anyone through the dirt.

We are doing this as amicably as possible. There was not a big scandal or a big blowup. This has been

a long time coming. And people don't believe me when I say that because I didn't see it from
