Welcome into the best in paranormal programming. This is darkness radio. I'm Tim Dennis. I'm excited. I got a great show ahead for you guys here and I got the opportunity to sit down and screen kindred spirits before you guys even got to see it.

No, no, no, no, no, no, actually I got to see the first three episodes of season seven and boy was I privileged. I got to tell you guys you are in for a treat at debuts tomorrow night Friday January 20th on the travel channel or if you've got discovery plus and buy gosh if you don't have it by now.

I don't know what you're doing with your lives.

Screen it when it comes up here on Friday. I think it's the first few episodes or it may be I don't think they put the entire season up but you should be able to get at least the first episode which is broken spirits folks.

I got to tell you it is it is entertaining. It's throwing you'll sit on the edge of your seat. There are some really really entertaining episodes to begin the season.

We're going to sit in with the entire cast today. Amy Bruney, Adam Barry and Chip coffee and we're going to talk a little bit about the beginning of the season. We're going to talk as well about some of the development throughout the seasons and what's changed with the season.

We'll do that now. Let's bring in everybody. Let's bring in Adam Barry, Amy Bruney and Chip coffee gang welcome to darkness radio.

Thank you. How's it going? Going good. Here's what we're going to do first. I have to ask this question and this was kind of brewing in my mind as I was sitting and watching the episodes.

First of all, I have to tip my cap to all of you. It's a refreshing change from where we were even a decade ago where it was skeptical TV.

Everything was skeptical TV when we were watching even a decade ago. You had to be a skeptic. You had to poop who everything you were doing when you were running around looking for ghosts. You had to deny that you even believed in ghosts.

So I have to say it's a kind of spirit as a breath of fresh air in that you can actually use the B word and that word is believer.

So I want to address. We'll go in order here. We'll go with Adam first and I want to ask Adam. Is it okay to use the word believer now? Is it okay to believe in what you're doing when you go out there in the field?

If you don't believe in what you're doing, you might as well stop doing it. Literally go home. I think what's interesting is I'm going to talk about this before. We're done proving the existence of ghosts. We're done proving it.

We're done saying, you know, let's say look at this. Look at this because we've done that for, you know, she and I have been working together for 12 years. We've shown so much evidence over the years that's like, okay, we think this is something this is really cool.

And if you don't believe us by now, then it doesn't matter. So we're not into like convincing people ghosts exist anymore. And I think once we broke free from that pressure, it allowed us to explore even more and have more fun.

All right. Amy, I got asked for someone who comes from a background of ghost hunters. And this is a long time ago now. Let's just put it that way.

You are one that comes from a skeptical background. Is it okay to say the word believer in front of you and and use the beword?

Oh, absolutely. I mean, for us, I so ghost hunters was and it was such a different animal than it was like we would walk in and it would be like, all right, your house is haunted by or we don't think your house is haunted by, you know, there was not any like kind of resolution, per se.

I think they've kind of come around to that in later seasons. But for us, obviously, we want to be logical. Like there are. We don't want every, we don't want people to think that everything that's happening in their house or business or

museum, what have you is is paranormal. And we want to explore all options. But, you know, we go in with the idea that ghosts or spirits could be responsible for what they're experiencing.

And we're also very hesitant to even say their ghosts or spirits. Like we're the first people to say like, we don't even really know what it is we're dealing with. We just know weird stuff happens and in our experience doing this has helped.
