Three-year-olds, man. There's something else. I, um, we have a pretty good three-year-old, but I will say I mentioned to my friend earlier this week.

I had no clue when I became a parent that it would take two grown adults to outsmart one toddler and we

fail at it constantly.

She outsmarts us an embarrassing amount of times and I have to use more brain power negotiating with her and trying to outsmart her than I ever had to use in high school and college.

You know what she did to me the other day?

We were both in the bedroom,

and she was sitting on the floor,

playing with something, and I was sitting on the edge of the bed and I think I was

I was gonna tell her to go get ready or whatever I said Ellie Ellie Ellie

Ellie she doesn't respond so you go Ellie Ellie, Ellie, Ellie. She hasn't respond.

Finally, go, Ellie, and I start yelling.

And she turns and looks at me and says,

we don't talk that loud indoors. Schooled and I here's the thing.

Which is not really actually a rule in our house.
