Apologies in advance if you hear explosions or booms or the constant beep of

construction equipment backing up at any point during this episode because they are

tearing down a house. Well the house is gone. The house is gone. So they're clearing a lot

across the street from our house and they've done it very quickly.

I mean well and it's a city project which is probably why it's happened so quickly

because I feel like this is a project that they've been talking to neighbors about for like years right like at least a year probably more more than that and our city that we live in we don't live in the city limits of Atlanta we live in

in Sandy Springs and Sandy Springs as a city very quick to to do things.

They don't mess around. There's not a lot of bureaucracy here. So no so they decide they're doing something and they do it and I

kid you not they've been they bought the land like across the street from us to

create a like an intersection which is great for us because it means sidewalks and you know it's awesome for us

gets us to where we're going a little less dangerously and then they've held on they bought this person's house from them and they've

been holding on to it for nine months and nothing's been happening and the past two

weeks the house is gone the trashes out they got bulldozers over there like digging up tree stumps. I think, I mean they are flying.

It's really remarkable when you watch something like that happened because they took the house down.

I got up, they did it on a Saturday morning.

It was a Saturday.

Everybody was home, so maybe it was over break, I don't know.

But I got out, I was the only one up and I heard

the noise started around 730 and I looked outside and said oh they're starting to

tear that house down when Ellie gets up a half hour later, I'll see if she won't want to walk across the street and watch.

Because that's cool, right?
