couple of weeks, and I asked her if she would be willing to come on the show and tell us about her

mom, both so that we can see Liz Ayers as more than just a victim, but as a person, and also to

Stiles. My name is Tasha Stiles. I am Liz Ayers' daughter.

How old were you at the time of your mom's murder?

I was 20, 20 years old.

I wasn't sure.

You and I talked a little bit about that before, but I wasn't sure if you were real young.

But because of your age, you're probably the absolute best source we have to learn about

And I guess the first place for us to start is, can you just tell us about your mom?

I know you've told me that, you know, your mom had some struggles, you know, around this time and while you were growing up.

You know, my audience is aware of that too, but, you know, a lot of people have struggles.

But just as openly and honestly as you can, just tell us about your mom in kind of your relationship with her.

Well, my mom was my best friend.
