Hi Max! What a treat to see you. How are you?

You know, I am great.

It's so good to see you too.

I've got to hear a lot of all this that's been going on in your life since I last talk to you.

It's not boring.

There's so much we can talk about, but I just, I want to get to it because I'm so excited about this project.

You are all of our like dad pastor person and for you to talk

about heaven. I love the book Heaven by Randy Alcorn but for you to talk about what's coming

and in times,

it's just comforting.

It's just you're the right person to do it and I'm so grateful.

So I'm excited to dive in.

So let's talk about what prompted it. First of all, the book is called

called What Happens Next, a Travelers Guide to the End of the Age. Yeah, I I, and you're not the first to ask her,

you know, what in the world prompted you to write this?

A friend, I was just in the early stages of preparing, all of my books come out of sermons.

So it was just in the early stages of preparing these sermons for our church.

I'll never forget a friend and I were playing golf.

He said, why in the world do you want to even think about that? He said, he said, I'm a Carpe diem-sorted dude. You know how Texans talk, Carpe diem-sorted dude. He said, I'm in the here and now. And so that's a good question. You know, why occupy ourselves with what happens next or what's going to happen in the future when we do have so many bills to pay, kids to raise, deadlines to meet.

So I have two answers to that question. I told that guy that day. I said, you know, I'm

genuinely curious about the future. I really am.
