So one topic in the canon of old-fashioned on-purpose skills that I am sorely lacking in, is foraging.

And I'm going to partially blame that on Wyoming's seeming lack of edible wild plants,

although I think that may be a limiting belief on my part, but I just haven't dipped into

this world a whole lot. I know there's lamb quarters, lambs quarters outside. I know there's

some random white prairie mushrooms that are supposedly edible, although I've been a little nervous

to test the theory. I just don't know much about this. So I am very excited to be joined by someone who knows all about

this and much, much more. She is a foraging queen and she has built an entire platform and now a book

around this very topic. So I am very honored to be joined by the Appalachian Forger today, Miss Whitney herself.

She has been teaching these old-fashioned skills around foraging and living this lifestyle and

especially with the focus on mushroom hunting for many years now. And I can't wait to have
