The gift of emotions is that we can be fully connected to God and other people in a vulnerable and deeper way God invented emotions, He displayed emotions, and He was fully human and fully God. Do not let fear run your life.  Our emotions are healthy. Hi guys, I'm excited for you to get to experience this incredible conversation that I had

0:14.7

with Jonathan Rumi who plays Jesus on the chosen. Now if you've never seen the

0:18.6

chosen I would encourage you to go watch all of the seasons. It is transformative.

0:23.4

I first stumbled across it when it was in season one

0:26.0

and I remember just weeping in my bed

1:05.2

breadth of emotions.

1:06.7

And so as some of you know I have been working on a project called Untangle Your Emotions for a long time.

is transformative and even provocative about this project is that emotions are not

1:19.2

the enemy. Emotions are not sinful. We so often demonize emotions and try to get rid of negative

1:25.4

emotions and yet God is emotional and we see that most through Jesus and he

1:30.8

made us in his image and therefore we are emotional like God.

1:35.0

And the gift of emotions is that we're able to be fully connected to God and other people

1:40.0

in a vulnerable and deeper way.
