Hello everyone, I'm K. M. Wyland. I run the writing website Help writers become authors.com and welcome to today's

writing video and today we're going to be talking about a topic that is something

that all writers generally at some point or another have questions about and that is P. OV. P OV stands for point of view and it is the perspective through which you tell your stories narrative.

So specifically today, we're going to be talking about which person

that you might want to use when choosing your POV.

And by that what's meant is either you're going to choose

to tell the story through first person, second person,

third person, third person, third person, or omniscient. Now obviously there are many other questions that come up around P.

You know there's questions of which characters should you choose to filter

you know the story through their POV.

But that's a whole other topic.
