I'm going to spend time with the callers here in just a minute in this segment.

But I got a note from a friend of mine who lives down the street from that contentious data center, the QTS one.

And this is what he said is we were told by the politicians it would be one three-story

building now at 700 acres and 12 buildings.

The real thing that stinks is Georgia Power using imminent domain to take land to throw up

the transmission lines to get power to these data centers.

That stinks.

I'd rather have the data center than a bunch of Section 8 houses in the area, which is what was going to happen there, though.

The George Power thing and the power plants, it actually is the big issue people hate is using imminent domain.

I was told, by the way, very reliably by someone who knows that the power company was offering people 150% of the fair market value of their homes.

Think about that.
