It is Eric Erickson here from Washington, D.C. today in a hotel room, no less.

I got to give a fancy speech this afternoon behind closed doors to some dignitaries.

I got asked, I guess last week, two weeks ago, last week I think it was if I could come do this.

And so I am up here giving kind of a midterm election preview to some fancy people behind closed doors.

I can't go into a lot of details, but I'm very honored to have been asked to do it, given the

nature of the institution and the people I will be speaking to. But all that means is I got in from

Louisiana from seeing my family on Sunday night night turned around on Monday and flew up here

here today go home tonight she get home about 11 p.m. tomorrow is my birthday I think I get to sleep

late in the morning and then still have to do work. I even have a dentist appointment on my birthday

and then I go to Oklahoma City I guess in two weeks and Tulsa in two weeks.
