Hi, my name is Holly.

I was raised in Alaska in a very rural town called Craig, Alaska.

I moved to Oregon when I was in middle school, and it was very much a culture shock to me.

Moving from living out in the middle of nowhere to living in a normal town, felt like a lot. I was also an undiagnosed on the spectrum

when I was younger and I had a really, really difficult time connecting with people and the fact

that I was moving around a lot in my preteen years wasn't really

helpful for that.

It's not the biggest trauma in the world, but it created like a permanent feeling that I still

have today where I'm always afraid of having the rug pulled out from under me.

The second you get into a new school and think you found some kind of a place for yourself. It's like, oh, well, we're moving

again that created this uncomfortable thing in my life that still goes on today, where I'm still

constantly never really feeling safe and always feeling like the rug is going to get pulled out
