Hi, my name is Holly.

I was raised in Alaska in a very rural town called Craig, Alaska.

I moved to Oregon when I was in middle school and it was very much a culture shock to me.

Moving from living out in the middle of nowhere to living in a normal town felt like a lot.

I was also an undiagnosed on the spectrum when I was younger and I had a really, really

difficult time connecting with people and the fact that I was moving around a lot in

my preteen years wasn't really helpful for that.

It was not the biggest trauma in the world but it created like a permanent feeling that

I still have today where I'm always afraid of having the rug pulled out from under me.

The second you get into a new school and think you found some kind of a place for yourself.

It's like, oh, we're moving again.
