Well, there's actually several reasons. You know, goats are notorious for escaping because they want to wander and browse. She do not typically have that problem. They're a lot more easier to manage. There's this misnomer that sheep are more challenging than goats, for example, and that is really not true. They're actually quite easier. They're more parasite resistant than goats. They really want to be comfortable. They're not super

exploratory or curious. They want to feel safe. So as long as you as a shepherd make them feel safe,

odds are they're going to stay where you put them.

They're also a lot smaller than cows, for example,
