Hey, Pat, how are you today?

I am doing good. Now, Nick, a little while back, I was on your podcast, and we were talking about the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and a certain

person that we swore up and down. We would have bet money on it. He was going to be a shoe in this year. He's absolutely getting in. There's no way he's not getting in. And that person was Billy Idol. And Nick, what happened?

It's very odd because as someone, as Pat knows, I'm very knowledgeable at the Rock Roll Hall fame.

I often talk about it and write about it.

And all my friends and people I know and talk to about the hall, we all thought that he was a shoe-in.

And we thought he had every single corner of the demographic cover. So like New Wave and classic rock, punk,

alternative. And that doesn't get to like industry people that he knows and has worked with

and the younger artists. So it was very shocking to say Billy Idol was not, I mean, he was nominated. He was not inducted into this year's class,

especially on a ballot where it was 14 names, they could vote for seven. So half of them got

in from that ballot. It was a competitive ballot. I mean, like when I look at the names that, you know, it might have been a little hard for him

with some of the people, but he was kind of in his own lane, I would say.
