You know, progressives continue to melt down in this country over the idea of a third term for Donald Trump.

He says it's possible.

You know, it is possible for Donald Trump to have a third term for president of the United States. It actually is possible. What you do is you get two-thirds of the House and two-thirds of the Senate to agree to amend the Constitution, and then you get three-quarters of the states to approve it. Donald Trump can have a third term. Otherwise, he can't. There are people on his side who are

very cleverly trying to work these ideas of maybe actually we can have J.D. Vance run for president,

and he nominates Donald Trump to be his vice president, and he steps aside. But that's showing a deep

non-understanding of the system of the United States and how it actually works.

I'm always kind of flummoxed by the number of people who just don't seem to understand the Constitution.

No person shall be elected to the office of the president more than twice,

and no person who has held the office of president or acted as president for more than two years

of a term to which some other person was elected president shall be elected to the office of the president more than once.

But this article shall not apply to any person holding the office of president when the article was proposed by the Congress
