We must begin with the Department

of Education. Donald Trump has signed an executive order to end the Department of Education.

He can only do so much because the Department of Education was created by Congress. It is a statutorily

created entity so the president can't actually get rid of it, but he can certainly wind down

parts of it that the government has no business being part of. I got to say, just as a side

note, the optics of his signing were actually very cool.

He sits at a desk like a school desk to sign the executive order and is surrounded by kids also at school desks
