We got to move to Washington and the budget showdown that's happening because it actually

is a big news story. It may be boring, but it's big news. We have two events working concurrently

in D.C. right now. On the one hand, they've got to come up with a continuing resolution to keep the government open until

September 30th that is the end of the fiscal year they're supposed to have a budget done by October 1st

they're not going to do a budget it's not going to happen what they want to do is a a continuing

resolution to fund the government and then do a reconciliation

package the house wants one bill the senate wants two the house thinks they can lump

everything together the senate's not so sure they're fighting the question is what about Democrats for a continuing resolution?
