I want to start with a point I made yesterday, and I am flummoxed by some of the antics going on and around the White

House. And I've got a sneaking suspicion of what's happening. Let me start with my suspicion.

The president came back into office, January 20th, just hard charging. The president came back in a whirlwind of

activity, and since January 20th, the White House has been going fairly nonstop. And we had the government

shutdown in October, and the president couldn't shut down with the shutdown because he had to go to Israel, then he had to go to Asia, then he had to come back.

I think his team is exhausted.

And that is my guess for an amateur hour that's going on right now, because I don't think it's anything other than amateur hour.

And I'm kind of flummoxed by what I'm seeing coming out of the White House in the last couple of weeks because it's deeply uncharacteristic of the president.
