Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, welcome.

It is Eric Erickson here across the United States. The phone number doesn't matter. I can't take phone calls today. As I mentioned the first hour, I'm actually on a college tour with my son today. So I'm doing my show while he is hanging out with the architecture students and faculty at Sanford University in Birmingham. It is beautiful over here. If you've never been here, so I went to

Mercia University in Macon, Georgia. I actually got a scholarship to go to Duke. My mom wanted me to

see the Baptist School because Duke was Methodist. Mercer, I'm using air quotes when I say Baptist.

No one had ever heard of it until we actually beat Duke one year in the

NCAA tournament in March Madness. But Duke is Duke and Duke is gorgeous. But the people

were so pretentious. I was from like a little bitty town in Louisiana. I've never been to a

big school. I'm on this gorgeous campus. It is sprawling and massive. And everyone was like, we don't need you, you need us. And Mercer was very, very nice to me. They gave me almost as good a scholarship as Duke gave me. And I wound up going to Mercer. And it was tremendous. I met my wife, so I don't regret going.

But then I came over to Sanford. My son wants to be an architect. He's looking at Auburn University, and he was looking at Sanford because they have good architecture programs. And he fell in love with Sanford. It's Christian. They prayed for him while he was on campus. I know so many people who have kids or went to Sanford that I had no idea. And I was kind of like, man, I wish I had gone. This place is great. But then I

would have never met my wife. But I'm excited for him. So his two favorite restaurants on planet

Earth are Hattie Bs, the hot chicken restaurant in Nashville, and Grimaldives, the coal-fired pizza place up under the Brooklyn

Bridge in New York and they've got a Grimaldies and a headie beast. My wife is horrified. We may

never see him again if he moves to Birmingham to go to college. So in any event, I am I am at

Samford doing my show, but I don't have a setup to be able to take phone calls.
