This is Jenny Allen and you are middle of the summer to talk about something that I love the very most.

I love this season because we are talking about a random smattering of things I care about.

And today we're going to talk about something I don't want you to turn it off.

Do not think you don't need this. In fact, if you want to turn it off when I say this word,

I want you to not do it, especially you. Because I pray that today you will fall in love with this word if you aren't already.

I am in love with this word.

The word is theology.

We are going to talk about how we think about God. And it is a passion of mine.

And I'm gonna be joined by two friends

that love it as well, that have written a book about it.

In fact, J.T. English is a pastor out of Colorado but

originally was at the village in Dallas and we have a lot of mutual friends and

then Jen is a friend Jen Wilkin many of you know her and have done her Bible studies.

And so I'm so excited you guys are here.

And I am so excited about this book

because I remember being in seminary and crying many times in the back of the class because I could not believe I had never learned these things.

And I remember just feeling in my bones that as long as I would live I would give these

things away because it shapes everything about our life right so I got to read a lot of your

book this morning actually and I just loved both of your stories so why don't we start there as far as what made you fall in love with theology.
