you know, I know of which I speak. My sister and brother-in-law live in Memphis. Now,

my brother-in-law, Paul, was a master chief of the Navy.

They lived, spent most of their marriage, actually, in Portsmouth, Virginia.

They moved for a time down to Rockport, Texas, where my middle niece was born in Corpus Christi.

She's now a teacher in Starkville, Mississippi, and my sister and her husband were ultimately he was reassigned to Memphis.

And I know what you're thinking, because it's the same thing I thought. Why do we have a Navy base in Memphis on the Mississippi River?
