I want to begin the show today, playing off a call from a listener yesterday.

Had a call from a listener yesterday, and she said, what would you advise the president?

You don't like tariffs. What would you advise the president?

And I gave some general idea of what I would advise the president for a pretty

explosive economic growth. And just to go back to this, there are a lot of people who say,

in fact, I've gotten this on social media today based on something I wrote this morning,

that if you just buy American products, you're not going to pay a tariff. It sounds so simple to people. Just buy American. And you're not going to pay a tariff.

It sounds so simple to people.

Just buy American and you're not going to have to deal with tariffs, except that's not actually true.
