Should you wish to be on the program, I'd be happy to have you. I want to try to navigate an issue on which I got to admit I've gone back and forth on the issue. I'm a little wobbly on this issue,

but I at least want to explain to you what is happening. And that is on the issue of the federal sale of land.

I got a lot of friends on the right who are very upset at the idea of selling the land.

And essentially, what Congress has decided to do is in order to generate some revenue to offset the cuts they

want to make for taxes and stuff, they want to sell federal land.

Here's the initial problem.

The initial problem is that instead of restraining spending, Congress has decided instead to just sell some land.

It's like the crack addict deciding to sell the family jewels to maintain the crack habit, the drug habit.

That's what's going on here, essentially, is that the U.S. government has decided that it wants to

maintain its addiction to spending, and so it's going to start selling federal land in order
