things, breaking news that I need to hit out of the gate. First breaking news is that the

inauguration of Donald Trump is moving indoors. It's expected to be very frigid temperatures in 1985.

So, and let me actually back up.

So in 1981, January 20th and 1981, Ronald Reagan moved the inauguration from the east side of the United States Capitol to the west side.

I'm always a little bit flummoxed that it was ever on the east side, but by tradition, the presidential inauguration would be on the east side of the capital. So people would go down the street all the way down to where RFK Stadium was eventually built.

In 1981, Ronald Reagan moved it to the west side.

He was from California, and he thought going down the mall looking towards the west,

towards California was perfect, and that's what he wanted to do. And the presidential inaugurations ever since have been on the west side of the Capitol running down to his Lincoln Memorial.

And when you look at it, you kind of wonder, why the heck did they never do this before Reagan?

And they didn't.
