Tell us about your background and what led you to becoming a developer.

I learned about it while I was incarcerated.

I went to prison when I was a teenage.

I was really young.

And right before I got out, someone had sent me some stuff on coding and I read some

things about the demand for it. And at the time, I was worried about not having a skill,

having been incarcerated for a long time. So I started learning in there. We had access to a few

things. It wasn't exactly official. I basically started a few years before I was released in 2016.

The very end of 16 is when I was released. So I started around 14.
