Episode Sponsors:

  • Vara Safety – https://www.varasafety.com – We’ve talked a lot on this show about the importance of accessing your firearm quickly and safely. Vara Safety has two products worth knowing about. The Reach 2S is a biometric handgun holster designed for fast, one-handed access — no fumbling with keys under pressure. And the RACT is a wall-mounted rifle or shotgun solution that keeps your firearm securely within reach in your home. Check them out!
  • Stop the Bleed Week SALE – https://www.mountainmanmedical.com/stb – In recognition of Stop the Bleed Week, starting now and through the end of the month, save 15% on any Mountain Man Medical trauma kit.. If you carry a gun for self-defense, you should also be carrying the tools to treat a gunshot wound — for yourself or someone else. A tourniquet and a pressure bandage can be the difference between life and death in the minutes before EMS arrives. Head to MountainManMedical.com/stb and take advantage of these deals while they last.

About This Episode:

In this episode we continue our Justified Saves format and discuss several real-world defensive gun uses and self-defense incidents. We look at cases involving home invasions, attempted robberies, and armed confrontations, focusing on what happened and the choices made in each situation.

We cover a Texas home intrusion, a Mississippi shooting followed by a later return attack, and a Nashville burglary that turned into a struggle over a gun. We also discuss a store ambush in Las Vegas where bystanders intervened, and a Cambridge shooting where a concealed carrier helped stop an armed attacker.

As always, any questions or suggestions for future episodes can be submitted to podcast@concealedcarry.com!
