Welcome back to the program.

I have all sorts of madness in store for you this evening.

But before I began, if you happen to have tuned in to

last week's installment, you may recall that I opened with Vivian's call from the state of Illinois.

With the very next day after posting that episode, I received a letter and a drawing from young

Vivian, obviously sent before she knew her story would be

featured. Talk about a strange coincidence. And thank you, Vivian, for the letter and the

amazing artwork. Now, also like last week, I have a great little program lined up for you this evening.

And to kick things off, we head to my boyhood home of Ohio, where our anonymous caller is standing by.

Hey, Derek, love the show. I just wanted to call and talk about a little experience that I had on two separate occasions. I'm actually from Dayton, Ohio, and I'm not going to leave my name just to remain anonymous, but I know you're also from the Southern Ohio area, and so I thought maybe, I don't know if you've ever experienced this yourself or maybe one of your listeners have experienced something similar.

But I figured I would just give a little call explaining what I experienced.

So I live in a rural part of Dayton, Ohio, and what parents do.

And I had moved back home during COVID waiting to start a job in L.A.

And before I left Ohio to go to L.A., I would spend a lot of time in their backyard just cleaning up and doing mundane housework for them.

And one of those occasions of me tidying up the backyard, I was standing outside, just kind of looking up at the sky. At night,

there's plenty of stars and all sorts of stuff to see in the sky. And they live close to an airport
