I will try to phrase this as succinctly as I can. So I have my ultimate hope and faith is in God.

And so in the long term, I'm very optimistic. I know how the story ends.

In the short term, especially for our country right now, I am much more pessimistic. It seems like the Constitution is a remarkable document, and it led us to a great place.

I think as we've traveled away from the Constitution, we have been in decline.
