Georgia is ground zero, a swingy swing state where I have long argued that Georgia is not actually as much a purple state or swing state as people think. There is a dynamic among suburban voters and

Donald Trump that has made it swingier. And there are some demographic changes. But generally,

I think Georgia

is still pretty much a Republican state.

That being said, with Trump on the ballot, the state is a little more swing gear than it

might otherwise be.

And one of the chief surrogates of the Trump campaign in the state of Georgia happens to be
