By the beginning of 1961, and we remember talking about a boy who's 13 going on 14,

he is seriously experimenting with all manner of poisons.

There is no doubt at all that he starts by poisoning his stepmother, using antimony. But what he did, he started by poisoning his stepmother and then he went on to poison

his father whom he blamed for his own mother's death.

And so the process began.
