Folks, it's Eric. So there's no first hour of the podcast. However, we were able to video capture the monologue for the first segment. And if you go to eW. Erickson.substack.com or text Eric, to 33777, you want the opening monologue in large part because I do cover all the latest breaking news about Biden and whether or not he's going to get out of the race or not. But unfortunately, so here's what happened.

Last night, the engineers for my flagship station changed out the computer in my office where

we record the show. Jim, who is my board operator, his car broke down this morning on the way to the

office. So he had to catch an Uber. He got there 10 minutes before the show. He realized that the recording software wasn't set up the way he needed it to be set up to be able to capture the first hour. It didn't get set up until halfway through the first hour. So we were able to get the second and third hour, but we couldn't get the first hour because of that technical difficulty. The engineering team thought Jim would be there at his normal hour, which normally would be, except for his carer breaking down, and they didn't

know it. So it was just a calamity of events. So we got the first hour videotaped, which you can see

at my substack page, if you text Eric to 33777, 7.7, remember it's E RICK.

But otherwise, you're out of luck on the first hour of the show today.

My apologies for that happening.

It was just a wild confluence of events.

There will be no podcast for July 4th.

It's a best stuff show.
