I gotta talk about the Republican primary.

It is still early going. Donald Trump is above 50%. And, you know, the odds are,

if you're a betting person, real good odds, Donald Trump is the Republican nominee for 2024.

If you're a betting person, also real good odds that Joe Biden gets reelected because of it.

It's a statement of fact based on the current polling that's out there.

You can say the polling is wrong, but it is convenient that everyone who says the polling is wrong

is perfectly happy to accept the polling they think is right.

So, for example, the polling suggests Donald Trump is above 50% of the Republican primary.

And his supporters say, yes, yes, yes.

The same polling says Joe Biden would beat him.

And they say, no, no, no, no, no.

I mean, pick it and choosing.

Take it all or take it not.

That's just where we are.

But we're also seven months away from the Iowa caucuses.

There are still opportunities for the other candidates to shine. But I got to talk about some of this because I really take the position.

I try to take the position that we should not tell a candidate who wants to get in the race.

You shouldn't get in the race.
