It is Friday. Thank goodness. I couldn't come any sooner. I got to begin with a note to all of you.

A friend of the show and a friend of mine, Tim Keller, the pastor of Redeemer in New York City has

died. Word came just a while ago. Happened this morning.

I have put up on my substack, the conversation he and I had, I guess it's been two

Easters ago.

He had his book come out on Easter and triumphing over death and his battle with cancer.

Just a really dear, dear person.

His son said yesterday that Tim said he was ready to go see Jesus and now he gets to walk with him.

So there's that.

And I gotta tell you, it's a little bit of an emotional roller coaster here and I wasn't

going to start the show this way, but now I feel like I got to do it now

and get it out of me before I go on.

So I, gosh, try not to be emotional.

If you're a, so many of you have been listeners and friends for a decade and you have been through these ups and downs with me since my wife seven years ago was diagnosed with lung cancer.

For those of you who are new, if you if you don't know, I think most of you do.

My wife has stage four lung cancer.

It is genetic.

There's no cure.
