administration has decided to shut down the largest hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma, the 12th largest hospital in the United States of America.

That is St. Francis Hospital.

They are pulling accreditation from St. Francis Hospital South.

It would disrupt health care to those on Medicare, Medicaid, and chip the Children's Health

Insurance Program. The hospital serves 400,000 people a year. It employs 11,000 people in the Tulsa, Oklahoma area. The hospital has

opened its doors in 1960, 15 years ago. They started started St. Francis Hospital South.

So for 63 years, St. Francis has been in Tulsa for 15 years.

They've had St. Francis Hospital South and the federal government intends to pull their accreditation.

Why?

Why are they pulling the accreditation of the Catholic Hospital?

Because in the hospital chapel, they keep a candle burning.

And this candle has burned for 63 years at the main hospital,

and for 15 years at the new hospital branch.

And in the last three months, a hospital accreditor for the federal government's Medicare

Medicaid program has decided the candle burning in the chapel is a health risk to the

patients. And if they don't blow out the candle, they will see their hospitals unaccredited.
