We are in the midst of a political realignment in this country.

Donald Trump did not cause this.

Donald Trump is a symptom of a reflection of our great political relignment.

We are seeing upper income white people become more Democrat because their lives tend to be better

than the white working class and non-white middle class who are all

shifting towards the GOP.

If you are upper income and white in this country, and you have a college degree.

You tend to be better off.

Your investments are doing well.

You've got equity in your house.

You have a good job.

You can worry about social issues.

And more often than not, when people no longer have to worry as much economically and

they worry and fret about social issues, they tend to become more socially liberal.

Idle hands breeding in sin, however you want to look at it, socially liberal progressives

who are white and upper income, worry about socially liberal

progressive things, and they really stop worrying about the plight of the poor and other people,

which causes them to find someone who cares about them, and right now it's the GOP.
