I just got an email from Ann who said I failed to mention one of the reasons a lot of nurses

are leaving the career. It is true. I failed to mention this one and I actually know several people in this boat. They did not want the COVID vaccine and hospitals

mandating the COVID vaccine. And for those of you who are fans of the end, look, my whole family

got the vaccine. But I think you need to at least understand this one for younger nurses. A number of them did not want the

COVID vaccine because there are concerns and they are legitimate concerns about pregnancy

and the COVID vaccine. Now, I know a lot of women who had the COVID vaccine and then thereafter

gave birth to healthy kids, but there has been this concern and I would not be dismissive

of this concern if I were you. It has driven a number of young women and some young men

out of the nursing profession. And I tend to talk about nurses as female because by and large

they are, not always, but it a it's another reason a lot of

people have left nursing there is a huge huge problem nationwide um just just uh interesting now
