Normally, I don't note the date because does it really matter? Except this is that weird month where 30 days has September, April, June, and November, all the rest of 31, except

for this one, where it's got 28, except in leap years, which next year will be this year is

not. I remember that. The little things you remember from grade school, I remember that one.

Okay, I want to start off actually.

We've got to do several deep dives today.

There's a lot to talk about, but the biggest news today, of course, is the student loans.

The student loan bailout program has gone to court, not just to any court.

It's gone to the United States Supreme Court today.

And the court is, at least the conservatives in particular, a little skeptical of what is happening.

The thing you've got to know here is that the Biden administration worked very, very hard to make sure

that no one would be able to contest what's actually happening.

The big issue here is standing. Let me explain standing to you.

In order to bring a case to court, you must have standing.

That means you individually must be injured in some way.

The Biden White House arranged for the student loan bailout program to be structured in such a way that there were people who would have injury. That injury impacted their

financial liability in other matters, whether it was taxation or other issues. That when a person

filed a lawsuit over that, the Biden administration then carved out an exception for people impacted

in such a way.

And so the argument was that the plaintiff now has no injury because the White House,

the president restructured the student loan bailout package so that he did not have to be

impacted.
